B.A.MENSAH

B.A.Mensah holds an Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering qualification in Industrial Development Technology with over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience in Information Technology, Electronics, Commodities and Automobile dealerships.   He was born on July 27, 1968, in a remote village in the Western Region of Ghana and is a self-made businessman with very strong connections in the international technology and engineering community with versatile knowledge of technology and business development in the global business environment. He is the principal member of several companies, including IT Equipment Supplies Limited (ITES) Rahimo Transport in Burkina Faso and Western Automobile Centre (WAC), a leading vehicle dealership in Ghana, amongst others.   He is an astute and accomplished businessman, as well as a creative executive, possessing multi-faceted experience and a proven ability to revitalize organizations, initiate companywide campaigns and capture untapped growth opportunities. He is a results-oriented, decisive leader, adept at forging mutually beneficial relationships with key partners, vendors, and clients. B. A. Mensah is currently the Country Director of WEL International Ghana Limited and lead team member and technology development partner of AIDA Ghana Project Limited lead executive member embarking on development, and modernization techniques for commercialization of technologically innovative agricultural industrialization crops implementations development in the Ada East District.

DR. ING. REV. WILLIAM HUTTON-MENSAH

Reverend is an accomplished Executive and Corporate Team Leader with over 16 years of excellent track record in senior management positions as Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and the Director of Network Projects. He has 28 years of experience in electrical engineering in the energy sector. Over the years, he has also developed great experience working with players in the downstream segment of the oil and gas industry and has built extensive rapport with personnel and firms in both downstream and upstream oil sectors. His tenure as the Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana saw many successful project development initiatives which include reducing system losses and improving revenue collection, coupled with prudent management and infrastructure/ network expansion. He is a great team leader with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire. He also has great organizational skills and proven analytical problem-solving leadership and business acumen, while achieving business objectives. He is responsible for the Management and Installation of all Power and Renewable Energy Projects.

Pierre Jacobus. M. Claes

Pierre Claes was born in Neerpelt Belgium on the  27th  of May 1953. Has a degree in Mechanical engineering and was thoroughly trained by DAF Trucks on all aspects of production and assembly engineering, is creative, self-starting and result-oriented.   As a meticulous astute engineer with over 30 years of experience in commercial buses for the African / Asian continent in the specialties of assembling, developing, and adapting products, after-sales and sales.     He distinguishes himself by establishing global transactions with governmental grant projects and business development, creating a strong relationship with the government and manufacturers for a commercial bus project. With his vast exposure to the international market network, He strongly develops, designs, and builds relationships in the African Continent with Governments, importers, assembly plants, project owners and customers on all levels.    Pierre as an engineer was involved in developing an innovative production concept when he was working with DAF Trucks and Buses factory manufacturing and troubleshooting new production lines as a CKD engineer in several CKD assembling projects in Belgium, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Malawi, Portugal, Thailand, including factory layout projects, material management and computerized detailed material management.  

BRICE JEAN-GUY SOUROU AGUE

Brice is a highly motivated, customer-focused, and bilingual Business Development Consultant with over 24 years of experience. He has a proven talent for researching corporate business practices to determine shortfalls and devise appropriate solutions. Brice holds an MBA in Business in Emerging Markets and numerous technical and professional certifications. He is consistently recognized by employers and clients for his integrity, innovation, and attention to detail. He has excellent communication, finance, and management skills, along with rich experience in marketing and technical sales.   As the Director of Business Development for WEL International and other company commercial activities, his primary responsibility is to ensure the achievement of revenue and non-revenue objectives. This includes   increasing annual turnover through general business growth. He is also the international trade consultant for WEL International Ghana Limited promoting the commercial and business development components of AIDA Ghana Project Limited. 

MR. SHAKIL GHANI BUTT

S. G. Butt holds an MBA in Banking from The International University of Missouri USA. He is an astute banking professional with over 35 years of experience working within Pakistan & UAE and other parts of the world. He joined Barclays Bank Dubai, UAE, and worked in different senior roles at Habib Bank AG Zurich UAE in corporate banking as a Relationship Manager and other reputed banks in areas of corporate and retail banking, consumer banking specialising in recoveries, trade services, client relationships, banking operations, import/export documentations, credit & finance and branch management, assets management and credit marketing. He possesses excellent knowledge of all banking departments and maintained excellent morale and staff motivation levels during his work tenure as a senior management person. He has the capability to work in a demanding work environment and adapts to challenging positions with an excellent work ethic. He is an enthusiastic and motivated team player as the Equity Fund Manager for WEL International Ghana Limited.

ING. DANIEL BATCHA-TETTEH AZU

Daniel B.T Azu is currently retired from the Electricity Company of Ghana where his last role was Divisional Manager, Regulatory & Government Affairs. He is a trained Electrical Engineer by profession and has held several top directorship positions and served on several boards in the private and public sectors. He was trained in then the Soviet Union an international network with experienced professionals. Daniel has attended several international seminars and conferences representing the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and the Government of Ghana making him an authority in energy compliance and regulatory issues.   He also has a thorough understanding of the operations in the power industry. A strategic  thinker who possesses excellent abilities to expand, develop and execute holistic strategic  plans to achieve desired objectives across the designated regions in service to the  company’s strategy.    The identification, tracking and analysis of emerging public policy issues, pertinent to businesses, as well as regional management of external consultants and associates to achieve an effective and successful external affairs programme with state and local governments are his core speciality and mandate. He is the Project Consultant for Engineering for WEL International Technology Development and Chairman of the company

RICHARD TWUMASI-ANKRAH – ESQ

Richard Twumasi-Ankrah Esq. is a seasoned and committed lawyer who serves as a Director and Corporate Secretary of WEL International. His vast experience in corporate Taxation, Mergers, and Acquisitions with the legal technical competence to negotiate places him strategically in the operations of WEL International project development implementation structure. Having served as an Assistant State Attorney at the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General’s Department of Ghana adequately cuts him out of his current position. He was formerly the Managing Director and partner of Euroget de Invest and Gold Refinery Company Ltd. He is in private practice and specializes in corporate law including conveyancing and real estate development related to property transfer/acquisition development and management, and documentation. He is a member in good standing with the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) and has tremendous experience in constitutional and international law, thus bringing to WEL International his zeal to succeed. He is a highly organized and motivated lawyer, who enjoys a high level of autonomy and responsibility working closely with the company to deliver legal services of the highest standards. He is the Legal Advisor, Director, and Corporate Secretary of WEL International Ghana Limited.

GSET Project

Green Energy Sanitation technology project A technology that will address the entire country’s unfortunate mismanagement of waste in the country currently under consideration with the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources (The Project is still ongoing with major stakeholders in Ghana). The project’s first technology and engineering deployment in collaboration with DIHOC using the entire Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and other State Security Agencies housing and office infrastructure. The Ministry of Defence in consultation with the Military High Command launched a programme dubbed ‘Civil-Military Collaboration for Socio-Economic Development’ (CIMICSED) to actively embark on industrial development projects to enhance national socioeconomic development. To that end, a limited liability company known as the Defence Industries Holding Company (DIHOC) Limited had been formed to undertake industrial development.

Garment/Textile/Apparel Factory

Garment/Textile/Apparel Factory  Project prospects: Garment/Textile/Apparel factory planned objective is to offer technical and professional skills in the manufacturing of quality clothing. Prospect: Ghana’s export of apparel and clothing under the AGOA has expanded from less than US$250,000 in 2001 to more than US$9million in 2017. Projections: Established partnership with US firms and technical agencies (USAID) positions the country on a quantum export growth trajectory for the years ahead, with corollary of employment opportunities for many.

Komenda Sugarcane Development Project – Komenda Central Region of Ghana
